Case study 1 · Ten metropolitan schools
Ten metropolitan school sites, one coordinated rollout
The brief. A facilities coordinator responsible for ten metropolitan school sites needed emergency planning delivered consistently across every site, without each school having to manage it separately.
What CMG did. Craig prepared the emergency plans for each site, coordinated the logistics across all ten schools and delivered training tailored to the needs of each school, so staff learned procedures that matched their own buildings and students.
- Emergency plans prepared for each of the ten sites
- Logistics coordinated across all schools
- Training tailored to each school's context
- One point of contact from start to finish
In their words
“Craig’s professionalism, attention to detail, and understanding of the education environment made the entire process smooth and highly effective. A job extremely well done!”
Nicole, Facilities Coordinator, WA public education
Case study 2 · John Curtin College of the Arts
Updated maps for new and existing buildings
The brief. As the college grew, its evacuation maps needed to cover new buildings and bring the existing ones up to date, so every room showed the correct exits and assembly areas.
What CMG did. Craig surveyed the campus and produced updated maps for both the new and the existing buildings, drawn to AS 3745-2010 and oriented to where each one hangs. The drawings stay on file, so the next building project is a quick update rather than a fresh start.
- New buildings mapped
- Existing building diagrams brought up to date
- Drawn to AS 3745-2010
- Drawings held on file for future changes
In their words
“Craig and the CMG team provided us with a prompt, friendly and professional service which we greatly appreciated. Our updated College maps in new and already existing buildings have helped to keep us compliant.”
Nicole Turner, Associate Principal, John Curtin College of the Arts
Case study 3 · Kiara College
Detailed maps and evacuation plans, framed and mounted
The brief. Kiara College needed detailed evacuation maps and plans that met current requirements and were ready to go on the wall.
What CMG did. Craig produced detailed maps and evacuation plans for the college and supplied them framed and mounted as part of the service, so the school had nothing left to organise once the diagrams were approved.
- Detailed site maps and evacuation plans
- Framed and mounted as part of the service
- Drawn to AS 3745-2010
- Ready for the next review when the site changes
In their words
“It was fantastic working with Craig from CMG. He ensured Kiara College is compliant by providing detailed maps and evacuation plans. Having them framed and mounted was part of the service. A great result.”
Donna Baken, Manager Corporate Services, Kiara College
Case study 4 · NDIS homes
More than 20 NDIS homes, with fast turnaround every time
The brief. A builder delivering NDIS homes needed evacuation diagrams for each property, turned around quickly so handovers were not held up.
What CMG did. Craig has completed more than 20 jobs for the builder, producing evacuation diagrams for each home with a consistent standard and quick turnaround.
- More than 20 homes completed
- Consistent diagrams across every property
- Quick turnaround to suit handovers
- Repeat client with no issues
In their words
“Craig is always a delight to deal with and turn around time is great. He has done more than 20 jobs for us with no issues.”
