Meet Craig — Founder & Heart of CMG Fire & Safety

Craig is the driving force behind CMG Fire & Safety Services. As a Western Australian local and a safety expert, he’s built CMG from the ground up with one mission: to protect people, not just buildings. Today, Craig personally oversees each evacuation diagram project, training session, and emergency management plan — making sure quality, compliance, and care go into every job.

With his leadership, CMG has completed fire safety & training projects for 200+ schools and colleges across WA, as well as hospitals, aged care sites, childcare centres, and more. The Emergency Evacuation diagrams, crafted under Craig’s watch, meet the rigorous requirements of Australian Standard AS 3745-2010 and WHS regulations.

Craig’s Story

Craig founded CMG Fire & Safety Services to bring clarity and trust to fire safety planning and training. As a Perth owned and located business, he saw a need for a fire safety management company that wouldn’t just “do the paperwork,” but would build real, human-centric emergency evacuation plans tailored to each facility. Under his guidance, CMG doesn’t just check the box — they deliver fire safety and training programs, including emergency evacuation diagrams designed to save lives, clearly and reliably.

From humble beginnings, Craig has grown CMG into a specialist local business known for its technical expertise, local knowledge, and personal touch. He’s on a first name basis with many school principals, facility managers and building owners because he treats every job like it matters.
