AS 3745-2010
Under AS 3745-2010, every school must have compliant evacuation diagrams displayed throughout the facility. Each diagram must include as a minimum the title EVACUATION DIAGRAM, a floor plan of the area, the YOU ARE HERE location, designated exits shown in green, fire safety equipment locations in the correct colours, assembly area, validity date, facility name and address including access street, and a compliant legend.
The Emergency Planning Committee, which in a school context typically includes the principal or delegate, is responsible for ensuring diagrams are current, correctly placed and reviewed whenever the building layout changes or fire equipment is relocated. CMG handles the entire process: site assessment, design, approval and on site installation.

Yes. All workplaces and facilities occupied by people must have compliant evacuation diagrams under AS 3745-2010 and WA workplace legislation. Schools are not exempt regardless of size.
AS 3745-2010 notes that the validity period for diagrams should not exceed five years, so review them at least every five years. Diagrams must also be updated immediately whenever the school layout changes, portable classrooms are relocated, fire equipment is moved or new buildings are added to the campus. A school is also a workplace. There is no exemption based on the size of your premises. If people come onto your site, whether staff, clients, students or visitors, you need compliant evacuation diagrams.
